Workers Memorial Day Friday 28th April
We remember all those killed, injured and made ill at work, due to employers not ensuring our workplaces are healthy and safe. Workplaces with trade union H&S reps are 50% safer than those without! If you don't have a UNITE H&S rep in your workplace now is the time to be electing one!
We will be taking the branch banner to the Statue of the Building Worker at Tower Hill (come out the station and it is across the road) 10.30a.m to 11.30a.m, where there will be a gathering with speakers, minutes silence etc.
If you can make it, it would be good to see you there.
International Workers Day - May Day! (Monday 1st May)
There is a march from Clerkenwell Green to Trafalgar Square. We will be meeting with the branch banner at 12.30pm outside the Crown pub on Clerkenwell Green. Please come and join us! All help with carrying banner appreciated but if you are not able don't let that stop you coming!
