EHRC London picket line on Monday 12 December

I know this is very short notice but if any of you can get along to show solidarity and support with our UNITE and PCS colleagues at EHRC who are fighting yet more cuts and compulsory redundancies it would really be appreciated. This is their 3rd day of action. Recent talks at ACAS were unsuccessful and management have announced their intention to issue compulsory redundancy notices at the end of January 2017.
 
The EHRC, which holds the government to account on its record on equality and human rights intends to implement a 25% budget cut, after already implementing 70% worth of cuts since 2010. These cuts will have a devastating impact, not only on employees, but on the vital services that the Commission provides and on its ability to deliver on its mandate to enforce the law and protect human rights.

How you can support the campaign:
1. Attend the London picket line on Monday 12 December at Fleetbank House, Salisbury Square, London, EC4Y 8JX from 7 am.

2. Join our Carol Singers and Scrooge comes to EHRC protest outside the EHRC Stakeholders’ dinner also taking place on Monday 12 December. If you are able to, please attend wearing Victorian dress. Assemble at 5pm, Carlton House Terrace, SW1Y 5AH.
